Summer Camp

School is almost out and your kids are about to face an exciting summer. The NJ District is hosting a summer camp at Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, PA. The dates are: July 8-12 for our Sr.-High crew, and July 15-19 for our Jr.-High. The cost is $270 ($250 if registered by June 5th). This is a great time for our young people to get away for a week, see God's face, and to have fun with other youth. Please consider allowing your youth to attend.

10th Avenue North

10th Avenue North is a new Christian band that will be playing a FREE concert on Tuesday, May 27th at Sharptown Church in Pilesgrove. Their hit song "Love is Here," just recently made #7 on the Billboard's Hot Christian Songs List. We will meet at the church at 7pm to make our way over to the FREE concert.

Games of Life

Monopoly, Clue, Chutes and Ladders, Risk, Cranium, etc. Chances are that we all have played these games at one time. In God's Word, we find that those who are rewarded are those who gave all that they had to God. And sometimes it's easy to "play games" when it comes to our walk with God. At AMP'd Youth, we're going to tackle some of these "games". So bring out your young people and we'll see you on Wed. night at 7PM!

Speed-the-Light

To this date our youth have raised over $950 for Speed-the-Light! But we cannot stop there. Will you help us reach our goal? This month we are trying to encourage our young people to give just $5.00. That's only one dollar a week. We want to challenge 30 young people to give $5.00 this month. If we reach this goal, our adult staff will commit to double whatever our young people raise for this month. Will you join us in the cause of advancing God's Kingdom to his people?

Value Input

I know you are swamped, but I would love for you to share any input you have with our youth ministry team. I want to hear family success stories and how we can better serve our family. Anything you put in writing can be shared with our volunteer staff and become an ongoing encouragement. We'd really like to hear from YOU!

March Madness

Basketball season is in full swing. On Sunday, March 30, Calvary Hill will be hosting its own March Madness! The game will feature our youth against our swift and strong adults within the church. The game will be a fundraiser for "Speed-the-Light." This is a way to help provide for our missionaries who are in third world countries. The tickets for the event will cost $2.00. Make sure you come out to support our youth or adults (if you think they can win)!

Fine Arts Festival - April 26, 2008

We have some talented youth here at Calvary Hill. The Fine Arts Festival is an avenue where our young people can use their talents and gifts for the Lord. This year's Fine Arts Theme is "Everywhere." Registration is due by Wed., March 19th. The registration consists of filling out a form, a $30.00 fee for entry and an additional $7.00 for each additional category. We emplore you to encourage our young people to use their gifts within the church and this Fine Arts Festival. If you have any questions, see Pastor Mike.

Parents Meeting

On Sunday, March 2, at 6PM in the Youth Room. We will be hosting a Parents' Meeting for the youth. It will be a time to connect with one another, to pray for our families, and to hear God's Word. The meeting will be brief - lasting no longer than 7:30. We will also provide a schedule of future youth events. We desire for this to be a special night and we ask that this meeting should be attended by PARENTS ONLY - please no youth.

Sunday - March 2 - There will be a meeting for the parents of CHC youth at 6:00PM in the Youth Center.
